1 - 2 tbsp tamarind
Salt and sugar to taste
Prawn stock
Ingredients:
1 cup prawns (heads and shells)
1 tbsp large dried anchovies
Fry prawn heads & shells with a some oil for 1 min and add water to boil. Clean large dried anchovies, remove heads, intestines, soak for 5 mins and rinse. Add anchovies to the prawn stock, continue to boil for 5 mins and set aside to cool.
